  • Made changes to the Surname Catalogue that allows it to load faster into your Web browser.

  • We began using Ron Jacob’s GEDCOM to HTML converter software program. The benefit to the visitors of our genealogy Web site is that family data will now be formatted as family group sheets which are very familiar to genealogists. This change also makes it easier to find the data you’re looking for, and the printing of that data. So far we have made the switch to this new format in only our McPherson database. In upcoming months, as we process our regular updates, the remainder of our genealogy surname databases will be converted to the new format. We welcome any comments regarding this change.
